Hey everyone, Zeke here again to talk to you about Card Brawl: Duel of Champions! Today, we’re going to share how we designed the game around a balance of fast pace and thoughtful strategy - especially with respect to other games in the tactical strategy and card battle genres.
Card Brawl: Duel of Champions takes the colorful characters of the Shop Heroes universe, the collectible nature of a CCG, and marries it with the gameplay of a turn-based RPG tactics game. No longer a mere shopkeeper, the game puts you in the shoes of a powerful champion and pits players against each other in strategic combat. Command powerful warriors, elusive rogues, adept archers, and mystical mages to defeat the enemy Champion.
